Items discussed:

1)       8/27/07 Meeting Minutes—Cindy Fryer reviewed minutes from the previous meeting.

2)       Treasury and Tax Exempt Status—Currently, there is $4,407.14 in the treasury.  The last bill paid was $180 for insurance. Paperwork for the tax-exempt status has been submitted.

3)       Pizza Party—was on 9/11/07 at the High School Cafeteria.  We took in $155 and spent $81.31 in supplies, $220 for Sal’s pizza. The leftover pizza was given to the JV and Varsity players after the Liverpool game.  We had 2 cases of water leftover, 1 case will be given to the girls after the game.

4)       Bottle Drive—We made $1,636.85.  There is still money coming in.  We spent $79.10 at Dunkin Donuts for 7 dozen donuts and 2 boxes of Joe. Next year we need to advertise our bottle drive in the Messenger or on News 10 Now.  It was decided against placing fliers on vehicles as not all areas are covered.

5)       Program—Jacki Caselle brought copies of the program to be handed out to the sponsors.  They were distributed to all present.

6)       50/50 Raffle—We will sell tickets at 4 home games and 3 Modified games.  Sue Farrell offered to help with Varsity.

7)       High School Yearbook—Marcia is waiting to hear back from Mr. LeGro.  He should have our ad from last year.

8)       Yearbook—Vickie will ask Renee McKee about having the yearbooks printed. The yearbook will be more costly this year as there are 11 Seniors this year, last year there were 7.  She’ll try to condense some of the pages.

9)       Senior Day—Will be held on 10/11/07. There was discussion as to whether we should push it back to 10/17/07.  We will not have the JV players on 10/17/07.  The Junior girls were going to make Senior T-shirts at Kathy Meyer’s house based on Senior day being 10/17.  Ellen Lauko offered her house on 10/8/07. Practice on 10/8 will be from 4:00-5:30 PM and the girls can go to Lauko’s after that.  Marcia is trying to get in touch with the head custodian to set up the balloon arch.   We will start pictures at 3:00.  We may not be able to use Ray McKenna for pictures due to his having deadlines to meet.  We’ll touch base with Steve Miller to check if he’s available to take the pictures.  Tina is checking with Bruce to see if we can have the game moved to 4:30.   Senior gifts will be blankets with their name and sticks and a ball.  We will not include numbers because of the change in numbers for some girls.  Also, it was suggested that the Juniors tape their announcements of the Seniors to use with a speaker system. It was also suggested that we use a megaphone.   We will also have cake under the concession tent after the game.

10)   Banquet—We chose Monday, 11/19/07 as this is Thanksgiving week and in the event that people have early Thanksgiving plans.

11)   Clothing –Vickie Earle reported that the last order was received, the left over items will be sold at the concessions.

12)   Concessions—Ellen Lauko reported that over 5 games, we made $378 in sales, spent $106 on pizza and $134 in supplies.  She needs help at the varsity level.  There are people signed up for all games.
